Let me share with you a little more of our time in Taupo Our recent trip to Taupo was a delightful time of celebrations and lakeside adventures with family and friends, spanning six unforgettable days filled with laughter, love, and new experiences. From birthday festivities to exploring the natural beauty of the area, every moment was cherished and now etched into our memories. Our adventure began with a stay at a fabulous “Book a Bach” for the first three nights. Contrary to its unrefined name, this accommodation was a spacious, modern haven perfectly suited for our family of eight. It served as our tranquil base camp for the first birthday celebration – that being none other than Bruce's 65th milestone. Yes, that is the same Bruce mentioned in my previous post. The atmosphere was vibrant with familial warmth as we savoured precious moments together. Among the highlights were having both our grandsons with us adding an extra layer of joy to the festivities, making it a truly special occasion, and Sonya's exhilarating parasailing adventure, adding an extra thrill-seeking moment to our time in Taupo.
